The Deputy Minister’s Vlog: Bell Let’s Talk Day (part 1)
Transcript
(DM) I think Bell Let’s Talk Day is important because it has nationally brought us together to talk about mental health, reduce stigma, encourage conversations. Friends, co-workers, families sit down and have a conversation on this day. And it spurs that discussion. And we know that having the conversation is one of the most important things we need to do for mental health.
(VCDS) Yes. I think it draws awareness to mental health and sort of brings it in the mainstream. I think Bell Let’s Talk Day has really been instrumental over several generations. And brings focus and attention to a critical issue.
