Making diversity fashionable in support of NDWCC
To show their support for the 2018 National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC), Canadian Forces Language School (CFLS) and Canadian Defence Academy (CDA), held their second annual fashion show in November 2018 to share the rich cultural diversity of the School.
Participants representing Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Croatia, Iran, Sudan, Indonesia, Netherlands, Romania, Algeria, Morocco, Vietnam, China and Canada joined in to make it a global affair.
Our fabulous models were teachers and students from the French program, the Foreign Languages program, the Language Teacher Training Course, and the administration staff. The proud models walked on the red carpet with eye-catching traditional costumes, music and beautiful folkloric dances in front of a large audience.
One participant we must not forget is the Commanding Officer of Canadian Forces Language School, Lieutenant-Colonel Loïc Roy who continues his support of the event. He was a highlight of the show with his modeling talent, sense of humour and unique performance.
