If you were waiting on the arrival of factory 25 rounds magazines for your Ruger 10/22 rifle your out of luck. The RCMP has announced that Ruger BX-25 magazines are prohibited devices as they are designed to function both in the 10/22 rifles and Charger pistols. Similar logic has also been used by the RCMP to limit magazine capacities on S&W M&P 15/22 rifles and 22 caliber AR style rifles made by Chiappa.
