As the holidays approach, we are all surrounded by messages and commercials encouraging us to be joyful and merry. For some, the reality can be different, and the season brings considerable stress that can take a toll on their mental and physical health.

Whether your challenges are related to travel, financial pressure, family struggles, illness, or the loss of a loved one, it is important to know that you are not alone and that there are resources available to support both civilian and military Defence Team members, as well as their families.

As your Mental Health Co-Champions, we encourage you to make the most out of your holidays by following a few simple tips outlined in this video.

Over the next few weeks, please remember to take care of yourself and your loved ones, and that support is always available to the entire Defence Team family, if and when needed.

Rest, relax, refresh, and enjoy the holiday season! See you in the New Year!
