(J) A collective training event recently took place which focused on improving Reserve and Regular Force integration for Army Reserve formations and units within 4^th Canadian Division.

(S) Held simultaneously in Petawawa and Meaford, Ontario, Exercise STALWART GUARDIAN focused on realistic and challenging training for Reserve soldiers, acting as a confirmation of skills for soldiers completing their summer training and full-time summer employment contracts.

(J) The largest event of its kind, the exercise included an 80-hour continuous advance involving ambushes, raids, artillery fire missions, live demolitions, and obstacle breaches.

(J) Before we go, a reminder that the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign launches this week! This year, the campaign is focusing on the very real issue of veterans’ homelessness.
