Did you know that every year the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) supports Veterans’ Week activities with the National Veterans’ Week Speakers Program?

This annual program represents an incredible opportunity for CAF members to highlight the great work they are doing and to pay tribute to all veterans, past and present, who have served their country.

Year after year, we receive an abundance of requests for CAF speakers across Canada and this year is no exception with more than 2,000 requests received so far.

Our success is based on the willingness of current serving members to devote their time and energy to sharing their experiences with Canadians of all ages across the country.

If you haven’t already registered as a CAF speaker, I would encourage you to do so. For those of you who have already volunteered, I thank you for your dedication to the program and your desire to share your story.

Now more than ever, Canadians must know the importance of remembering the members who have served and who continue to serve, as well as those who have given their lives for our country.
