Canadian soldier of the First World War identified
The Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have identified human remains recovered in Vendin-le-Vieil, France, as those of Lieutenant Francis Henry Hemsley, a Canadian soldier of the First World War.
