Appeal Court live tweets from Wilson

Just as we did for the 8 day hearing in the federal court, we had VP of Public Relations, Tracey Wilson sitting in the Appeals court on Dec 9 & 10 2024, live-tweeting a play by play of the proceedings. Due to courtroom rules we were not able to record or broadcast the 2-day Appeal hearing so this will be a living story telling of the action from the courtroom. You can find those tweets HERE. Official transcripts will be available at some point and we will provide them, but for now this is the best we can do.
First, we’ll begin with some context to help it make sense. Below is a list of acronyms she used in these tweets so you can decipher what she’s referring to:

AGC = Attonry General of Canada
OIC = Order in Council
CC = Criminal Code
FA = Firearms Act
GIC = Governor In Council
RIAS = Regulatory Impact Assessment Statement
