Cpl Marc-Andre Duguay at the Aerospace Maintenance Competition, Georgia World Congress Center

What movie line do you use regularly?

I’ll be back.

Hello, my name is Cpl Marc-André Duguay. Right now I’m in Atlanta at the aircraft maintenance competition, representing the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Search and Rescue team. Now I’ll answer a few questions for 60 seconds.

  1. What aspect of the aircraft maintenance competition do you find most interesting?

I think it would be the diversity. There are a lot of activities. It was pretty cool to participate in this event. Thank you.

  1. What do you really hate paying for?

My grocery cart, when I don’t bring it back. It costs me 25 cents each time.

  1. Why did you join the Canadian Armed Forces?

Oh, that one! First of all, so I could move out of my mother’s house. Second, to discover the country and meet really interesting people.

  1. What was your objective during the competition?

Since it was my first time here, I didn’t really expect to win. It was more about having fun. So we had a lot of fun, and that was my objective: to have fun.

  1. Name one thing you couldn’t do without.

My girlfriend, of course.

That’s all. Thank you.

Phew! I missed only one. Yeah!
